Located atop Huntsville Mountain, The Ledges is a premier championship golfing community comprised of a Hurdzan/Fry created golf course, country club, pool, fitness facility and home to a quiet, family-oriented neighborhood only six miles from downtown Huntsville.

School Districts
Some of Huntsville’s top ranked public schools are near South Ridge at The Ledges including National Blue Ribbon schools, Jones Valley Elementary, Huntsville Junior High School, and Huntsville High School. In order to ease the transition from middle school to high school and ensure freshman success, The Freshman Academy at Huntsville High School was created a few years ago. The area’s oldest and most prestigious private (K-12) school, Randolph, which opened their high school facility less than ten years ago is less than 5 miles away.
